Check the parcel record

Review these lines

  1. Market value: compare it with recent qualified sales and the property’s condition.
  2. Assessed value: check whether Save Our Homes or another assessment limitation appears to apply.
  3. Exemptions: confirm homestead and any additional exemptions are listed.
  4. Taxable value: this is the value used by each taxing authority.
  5. Deadline: the TRIM notice and county VAB instructions control the filing deadline.
